Dog Sizing

I’m doing my best to create cohesive sizing and measurements for your Beasts. Your input can help very much as every breed is unique and mixing them up even more challenging. A 50-lb dog can be tall and thin or short and chonky, so please don’t send me your pet’s weight as measurements are THE most important.

If you feel a particular size will work, double check the most important sizes just in case as items cannot be returned/refunded. This is why I appreciate when you take a few minutes to measure your pup and send them via personalization box or Contact/DM. Custom sizing is bound to get a perfect fit. If not, I’m happy to take it back and alter it. I do not charge extra for custom fit as its part of the pricing, only extra fees for Custom Designs.

The BOLD sizes are the most important to consider when placing your order;

  • Girth (Biggest part of Chest)
  • Spine (from base of neck to base of tail)
  • Neck (low neck & high neck)
  • Head Circumference
  • Height (Ground to top of back – standing) for any capes/dresses

Other sizings may be considered when making any custom design or accessory fitting. If you have the time, the more measurements the better ;).

Hats;

  • Space between ears
  • Ear width
  • Forehead to back of neck

Booties;

  • Leg (Floor to under belly)
  • Boot height (Back- Floor to calcaneus, Front-floor to olecranon) will vary with costume/sleeve length. The calcaneus is best for all paws as its a nice catch for the top of back boots and equal match for front.
  • Paw/print (Length & Width)
