Refund and Returns Policy

Exchanges/Defects

As most every costume is a custom sizing build, there are no refunds or exchanges**. Make sure you order ahead (I recommend 6 weeks) before any special event and have ample time in case any alterations need to be done.

My mannequins are limited, and sometimes odd shapes can be difficult, esp with the demand of “designer” dogs. **If the fit is horribly off or a stitching defect is present, please snap a picture to share where the sizing doesn’t work or defect is. Within 3 days from receiving the costume, pack the unused costume back up in its original package and I will email a return label and have a new one made and shipped to you or make an alteration.

Refunds

Will only be given if an order is placed when the purple website banner states, “I am no longer accepting orders for (said date/holiday) as I am backed up to send any costume to be received in time for that holiday”

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Delayed/Lost Shipments

Tracking is sent with your shipment. Please monitor that if there is a delay. We are not responsible for lost or delayed shipments once sent. Most shipping companies offer up to $100 insurance. I will work with you for anything lost in the mail, building a new costume and overnighting it (if your timeframe allows) and may ask for splitting the expedited costs as this is a loss for me that does not get reimbursed. I suggest adding extra insurance, esp over the holidays. If you eventually receive the lost package after a refund or rebuild had been done, I will send a return label to you to have it sent back.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
